'Finding the Way Home' book signing to coincide with First Fridays Downtown
The Arts Council of the Valley welcomes James Madison University alumnus Sarah Byrd to Harrisonburg, Virginia to celebrate the launch of her first novel “Finding the Way Home” on September 3, 2010 from 5-7 p.m.

Dairy Month Poster Contest Winners Announced
Winners have been announced in the annual 4-H June is Dairy Month Poster Contest. The 2010 theme was “Dairy Makes Cents.” Receiving first place in the senior category (ages 14-19) was Katelin Kline of the St. Luke-Saumsville 4-H Club. In the intermediate category (ages 12-13), Andrew Rhodes, from the Toms Brook 4-H Club was the first place winner.
